Financial Literacy & Money Management with Jessica Shute
Youth aged 15 and up are invited to an empowering evening of Financial Literacy & Money Management with Jessica Shute, presented by the Youth in Transition – Housing Support Program. This interactive session will help participants take control of their financial future by learning essential money skills, including online banking and budgeting, the do’s and don’ts of credit cards and loans, and the benefits of saving and investing for the future.
Jessica, an Anishinaabekwe from Couchiching First Nation, brings over 15 years of experience as a mortgage specialist with RBC Royal Bank in Toronto. Now back home, she’s helping youth understand how to earn, save, and spend wisely to build long-term financial stability and independence.
The session will take place on Wednesday, November 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at 281 2nd Street, Unit 1 – Training Room. Dinner will be provided, and a stipend is available for registered participants. To register, please contact Whitney Guimond at 807-274-3201 ext. 2111 or email [email protected].
